We’re less than a week away from the nationwide release of beatmania IIDX 27 HEROIC VERSE, and there’s a lot of reasons to be excited. That’s where their latest YouTube upload comes into play, part one of their previews for the new music that will be gracing HEROIC VERSE. As someone who would consider themselves a casual beatmania IIDX player at best, the one draw that the series holds over me is that of all the Bemani titles, it’s possibly got the wildest music. Never a series to disappoint, HEROIC VERSE continues the tradition of delivering exceptional music on all fronts, with “Ska-sh All Neurons!!” by Camellia and “Silly Love” by DÉ DÉ MOUSE already commanding my initial credits. Set to release nationwide on October 16, the first crossfade alone has me completely stoked. If the second crossfade offers as much variation and quality as this lineup, we have a lot to look forward to.
