Today on a very special BEnama as we get closer to the end of the year, KONAMI brought on special guests Mori Icchou & DOLCE to discuss The 7th KONAMI Arcade Championship (KAC) in great detail, and what to expect starting tomorrow, 11/30.
This year, things will run a little bit differently. There will be 1st and 2nd Stage qualifying rounds for most games, with split sections for East and West Japan, plus overseas regions for eligible games.
Additionally, the champions from last year’s 6th KAC will also be given special byes and head directly to the final rounds for their respective games!
The 7th KAC qualifier song: ‘Be a Hero!’ sung by Yuki Nakashima will be playable from 11/30 – 2/13/18. The song will be made available to players who want to play, even if they are not looking to enter the KAC rankings.

- Total EX Score for the Qualifying Sets will bring the top 8 players from East/West Japan to the Semi-final round, with 3 players from each East/West moving on to the Finals along with 1 top player from Asia, and the previous year’s champion.
A 1.5x BUZZ bonus is also gained when playing the qualifying songs.
