Pepsi Japan Rolls Out New Seasonal Flavor

Pepsi Japan top

If I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, Japan loves their limited edition seasonal products. Be it food items from fast food joints, toys which are regional exclusive, and drinks that are around for a few weeks. In the past we have had things such as The Ugly Beef Burger, The MAXIMUM Whopper, Cucumber flavored soda, Orange Vanilla flavored soda, Coke mixed with coffee, and a plethora of other things. Earlier this week, Pepsi Japan rolled out its newest iteration of the seasonal limited edition goods and it comes in the shape of none other than Caramel Punch flavored Pepsi.

Caramel Punch Pepsi

Now I know what you’re thinking “caramel…punch…,” trust me, I thought the same thing as well. But if you think about it, caramel flavoring is one of the more predominant flavors when it comes to any sort of cola based beverage, so it couldn’t be THAT bad, right? Well, maybe, maybe not. I personally haven’t found it at any of my local convenience stores and I haven’t had the time to run to Don Quijote to try to procure a bottle for myself but based on what my friends have been saying about the flavor is that it is a “very strong caramel flavor with a hint of cola and kind of a fruit punch after taste.” I don’t know if that’s good or bad, but maybe it’ll be good because I like all three of them individually.

The limited edition Caramel Punch flavor will be available on shelves for a few weeks with no specific end date announced, but if we go off of the previous limited flavors, I would say it’ll be around for a month max. Hopefully, within that month I can find a bottle for myself and give it a true taste test, but I would be lying to you if I didn’t say I was a little scared.
