The wait is over and today marks the 20th anniversary of DanceDanceRevolution released in Japan way back on September 26, 1998! KONAMI teased a website and event splash screen on arcade cabinets with a countdown leading up to today. Well, the update released and we have all the information below on what went down, and what’s to come!
Players will now see in the category option, the DDR SELECTION option. Select it, and you’ll see a drop down.
The DDR Selection category will feature select songs from each select year and release of DDR.

[[DDR 20th Anniversary History]]
KONAMI decided to put up a page regarding the history in detail on everything DDR for this weeks update including home console version release dates as well as arcade. Another updated page on the website included a ‘goods‘ page! items that will be made available for sale at Japanese arcades. First listed is a DDR arrow towel set to release in February 2019 at select arcades.

KONAMI announced on their end the unveiling of the DDR Movie that is currently in the works from Stampede Ventures. Another addition to the goods page was also updated with keychain DDR logos from the past! Being sold later in April, 2019.
