MegaHouse Releases Demon Slayer Charaction Cube Puzzle Figures

Demon Slayer Charaction Cube Puzzle

We’ve already seen the Demon Slayer Rubik’s Cube, but have you seen these new toys where Tanjiro IS the cube? MegaHouse recently introduced Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Charaction Cubes. These things are smaller than a Nendoroid figure (only 85 millimeters, compared to the slightly taller 10-centimeter Nendoroid). With their big heads and somewhat rotund bodies, they look a bit more like a modern-day Daruma doll, actually.

In addition, the Charaction Cubes can be twisted and turned into funny and odd shapes. It’s not quite a ‘cube,’ but they are certainly interesting. This YouTube video from MegaHouse demonstrates how they can be twisted:

The Demon Slayer cubes come in three varieties: Tanjiro Kamado; his demonic sister Nezuko; and Zenitsu Agatsuma. Sorry, Inosuke fans; maybe he’ll show up in Series 8 (the Demon Slayer figures are apparently part of Series 7). The Tanjiro cubes were released in mid-December.

Since 2018, the company has made 46 different types of Charaction Cubes. So, if you don’t like Demon Slayer, you can also get Chopper from One Piece, or GeGeGe no Kitaro. You can also get Frieza, so when he boasts ‘this isn’t even my final form,’ you can twist him into a new one. They also have Hello Kitty, Wonder Woman, Ultraman, and more.

These things may have started out in Japan, but Bandai is also starting to sell Charaction Cubes overseas at places such as Target. You can also find the Demon Slayer ones at Amazon Japan.

MegaHouse gives a suggested retail price of 1780 yen, plus tax, for the twisty toys.
