For the longest time, Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles (Hinokami Kepputan) has been listed for a 2021 release date. Today we have finally learned that the game will be dropping on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC on 14 October 2021 in Japan.
Leading up to today, we have had many announcements of characters that will be featured in the versus mode of the game and it’s looking like it’s shaping up to be one of the best titles releasing in 2021. The title has also been announced to be getting a release in Asian territories by SEGA. As of the time of this writing we don’t have a date for a Western release of the title. SEGA has outlined the game as follows:
Become the Demon Slayer, Tanjiro Kamado, to fight off the demons threatening humanity in order to turn his sister Nezuko, who has become a demon, back into a human, as well as to avenge the death of his family by hunting down the demon who killed them.
Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles is certainly going to be one of those games that you’re going to want to pick up if you’re a fan of the series.
