A couple of weeks ago, we shared information regarding the exciting new Uniqlo UT collection of shirts based on the mega-popular Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series that were to be sold at GU and Uniqlo stores throughout Japan. Perhaps you won’t be surprised to hear that many of these shirts sold out almost immediately as fans throughout Japan clamored to get a hold of this fashionable clothing based on the series. If you missed out on this first run of shirts, however, there’s no need to worry. Uniqlo have come out with a second round of shirts based on the popular franchise, and some of these new designs are arguably better than the last!
From the cool flamed lettered logo shirt for Rengoku to a rather sophisticated patterned design that avoids directly showing us the characters in place of patterned motifs that match the clothing of the main characters of the show instead. In fact, out of the designs available in this new collection, this one is perhaps my favorite of them all, acting as a neat yet subtle way to show off your love for the anime and manga. In total 8 designs are available across both adults and kids sidings, though some colors and designs are only available for either one or the other. In fact, after the design I just mentioned above, my second favorite shirt featuring the iconic key art for the series is perhaps next on the list, but this t-shirt is only available in kids sizes. The similar design available in adult sizes puts this on the back of the shirt, for some reason.
Not just shirts are being sold as part of this second set of Uniqlo UT Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba designs. The patterned design I mentioned above is also available in a rather stylish bag alongside some of the other shirt designs. A number of towels are also going to be sold as part of this collection that use these same designs. To top it all of, a special cardboard package box will be used to post any of these clothes, towels or bags to your home if you decide to order them online.
The second round of the Demon Slater: Kimetsu no Yaiba Uniqlo UT collection will be made available on August 17th, and you can find out more over on Uniqlo’s official website.
