The “Itazura BANK” series are those little series of piggy banks where characters appear from a box when you put money on a plate and reach out their hand to draw money into the box. With this version of the Itazura BANK the concept is no different, but Eevee from the Pokémon series plays a little mischief, and does his iconic “vee!!” sound and pulls the money into the bank while squealing.
There are 15 different voices that Eevee can use. Each time it comes out, it makes a different sound, and sometimes you can even catch him humming. In addition, the front sticker is designed with an illustration of Eevee turning around and colored lines in the evolution line colors of Eevee.
The Pokémon Eevee Itazura BANK will be available at the end of October and will set you back ¥3,278. Definitely not a steep price for something that you can store your coins in and have a nice little chuckle while doing so.
In the past, TOMY has also done this with Pikachu with the exact same concept but instead of Eevee popping out and stealing your money, Pikachu comes out to do the deed. I don’t know what it is, but I find these things super adorable and would love to have both of these just sitting on my desk at home because god knows how many coins I go through living out here in Tokyo.
The Pokémon Eevee Itazura BANK will be shipping at the end of October and will certainly make a good addition to anyone’s Pokémon goods collection. TOMY has yet to announce if the Pokémon Eevee Itazura Bank will be available for purchase internationally, so as always, it’s a good idea to have a proxy or have a friend in Japan place an order for you if you’re looking to make this part of your collection.
