I think I have it figured out: F:NEX makes giant figures. Exclusively. I am (partly) joking, of course, but after their lifesize EVANGELION statues and huge Hatsune Miku figure, they’re keeping the giant trend alive with a new figure. Today, they kicked off the pre-orders for a giant Nezuko figure from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
Even though the figures/statues that they release are massive and exorbitantly expensive, they’re absolutely beautiful and really drive home the details for the characters that they’re portraying. The giant Nezuko figure is no different. The figure features Nezuko hunched over in a box with a pure and innocent look on her face. Just as the F:NEX website puts it, ‘She is so cute that even her brother Tanjiro would want to protect her with his life.’ I couldn’t agree anymore.
Alongside the giant Nezuko figure is a giant price tag: the figure will set you back a whopping ¥399,300 (Approx. $3,750 USD). But with that price tag, you’re getting the immaculate quality that F:NEX puts into all of their works. If you have a burning hole in your pocket, you are the world’s biggest Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba fan, or just you really need to have this figure in your life, pre-orders are going on now until 15 July 2021.
The giant figure will be shipping to buyers sometime in January 2022. As with all things like this, you’re going to need to have a friend in Japan to help you obtain this, because for that price range, I wouldn’t trust a proxy.
