The Netflix adaptation of ULTRAMAN has joined forces with popular Japanese streetwear brand Fxxking Rabbits (#FR2) for a capsule collection.
Fxxking Rabbits is produced by Ryo Ishikawa—CEO of menswear brand VANQUISH and co-founder of DENIM by VANQUISH & FRAGMENT alongside the godfather of Japanese streetwear, Hiroshi Fujiwara. #FR2 merges fashion, sleek graphics, and photography into a high-impact world of clothing, accessories, and small goods.
This release’s line-up includes t-shirts, hoodies, a cap, and a stuffed rabbit. The pieces fuse #FR2 branding with graphics featuring the series’ hero Ultraman, energy beams, and electrostatic warning signs to give the pieces an industrial, futuristic vibe. The iconic #FR2 rabbit was even given a Specium Ray upgrade for the collection.
The front box logo and back text of the Specium Blade T-shirt (available in white, black, gray, and red) change color and glow in the dark. Similarly, the color lamp at the center of the front of the the X-RAY Hoodie (available in white, black, and red) also glows in the dark.
The No Photos T-shirt features one of the brand’s signature phrases on the front with Ultraman himself posing with a camera on the back. The camera is actually #FR2 Ryo Ishikawa’s personal favorite camera, a Leica—with a #FR2 camera strap. The Specium Ray T-shirt (available in red, black, and white) overlays an action-ready with FR2 text.
The collaborative items will be released online on May 11th, 2020. Shop the complete #FR2 x ULTRAMAN collection on ceno. International shipping is available.
Until then, you can watch season one of ULTRAMAN on Netflix. Season two of the popular series is still in production but will continue the story right where events left off—following the adventures of Shin Kayata, son of the original Ultraman, as he struggles to become the Ultraman of his generation.
