It’s hard to believe that the manga of Fullmetal Alchemist came out twenty years ago. The series, that had a star-ridden legacy with anime and other media spin-offs, will be getting a special live stream event to celebrate its 20th anniversary on 12 July 2021.
Fullmetal Alchemist got its start in SQUARE ENIX‘s Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine, and even though the manga has wrapped up, fans around the world are still enamored by the charm and the presence of the story. Where details surrounding the upcoming event are sparse, we do know that they will be taking a look back on the history of the series and even possibly making some special announcements during the live stream. There will also be a special goods campaign that will be taking place in Japan. They will share more details regarding this during the event.
The event will be available worldwide via YouTube Live, or you can watch from the embedded link at the top of this article. With this being the twentieth anniversary, I think we might be in for some special treats.
