If there is one thing that stands out to me about Sword Art Online: Alicization is the exquisite weapon designs. Proplica announced today that they will be creating a full-scale replica of the Blue Rose Sword from the anime.
The Blue Rose Sword is the weapon of choice of the co-protagonist Eugeo, and it is honestly one of my personal favorites in the entire series. The way that Proplica replicated the sword down to the fine details on the roses on the hilt of the sword is absolutely mindblowing.
The sword also comes with more than 100 sound effects and famous lines from Eugeo and Kirito. It comes with two different modes, ‘Human World Mode’ and ‘Underworld Mode’, allowing you to enjoy different sounds in each mode. A special pedestal is included for display, making it a centerpiece for your collection.
The Blue Rose Sword is currently available to pre-order through PREMIUM BANDAI for a pretty modest price of ¥11,000 (Approx. $100 USD) and is expected to start shipping to customers in November of this year.
