Groove Coaster for Steam Version 1.2.0 Update, Score Contest and TAITO DLC Announced

Degica Games has just shared some amazing details regarding Groove Coaster for Steam Update 1.2.0 that will be dropping later next week.
In the largest update thus far, TAITO has added 10 songs to Groove Coaster for FREE!  The update will go live on September 11, 5:00 PM (PDT).

New avatars

Groove Coaster 1.2.0 Changelog
  • 10 new songs added to base game! Raising song count from 36 to 46!
  • 5 new avatars to use!
  • Callibration settings have been improved. Now able to adjust by 0.1/60 second intervals.
  • Right clicking on the Linka the navigator will change her voice from English to Japanese.
  • Achievements earned in game will also unlock correctly on STEAM. In the event of sudden shutdown, achievements can be unlocked on STEAM by playing any song once, allowing the data to resynchronize.
  • In song Menu functionality has been changed, when stopping a song mid play, the player will be returned to the song select list / same song that was just played. Old functionality took the player back to the last song cleared.
Score Contest
To coincide with the major update, TAITO is holding a limited time high-score contest featuring the 10 new tracks!
Contest Details:
  • When – Scheduled to Start from 09/11/2018 at 7:00PM PDT – Ends 09/18/2018 at 7:00PM PDT
  • Prizes – 1st place for EACH track will receive 1 Unannounced October 3rd DLC code and 1 *DLC code! 5 Random entries for EACH track out of 1,000 will receive 1 *DLC code!
  • *DLC prize = freedom (From Darius Burst Chronicle Savers) / Shohei Tsuchiya (ZUNTATA)

If all that wasn’t enough, TAITO was excited to reveal FOUR new tracks from retro TAITO games so get hyped for a nostalgic ride on the Groove Coaster coming soon!  The TAITO Retro Game DLC will be released free for a limited time on the schedule below!
*Start / End time might change slightly due to unforeseen circumstances.
*DLC will cost $1.99 once limited time free offer ends.
