Today, Crypton Future Media announced a date for their online-only HATSUNE MIKU Digital Stars 2021 live concert. It will take place on 29 August 2021.
It’s hard to believe that Hatsune Miku is still as popular as she’s ever been, even after almost fifteen years. The virtual singer has toured the world making believers and fans of synthesized vocals and catchy music.
Because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic here in Tokyo, the event is going to be held online. However, Crypton Future Media has yet to comment on if the event will be streamed worldwide or if it will be exclusive to Japan.
They have also announced that they will be taking pre-orders on goods related to the event starting on 20 May 2021.
On top of all of this, there is also a HATSUNE MIKU Digital Stars 2021 Compilation Album being released, containing twelve songs remixed by a variety of Japanese DTM artists. The tracklist is:
