HONEST BOYZ® made some pretty major headlines in Japan following their performance at OTAQUEST LIVE in Osaka last year when they debuted their all-new single “SAKURA feat. KOBUKURO” in front of a packed stadium audience. The legendary performance was just one of the many surprises from that night, but it looks like the group is finally ready to release “SAKURA feat. KOBUKURO” unto the world. Set to drop physically and digitally on March 6, the two-disc single also includes an HONEST BOYZ® digest from OTAQUEST LIVE.
For those who were in attendance at OTAQUEST LIVE’s Osaka-Jo Hall showcase, it was an absolutely magical moment when both members of KOBUKURO came out on stage in the midst of HONEST BOYZ®’ performance. The J-rock duo wouldn’t usually be the pairing you’d expect to see alongside a hip-hop group like HONEST BOYZ®, but there was something about “SAKURA” that really brought it all together. Both forces absolutely crushed it, and it’ll be exciting to relive that all again.
