Jojo’s Collaboration Line with tk.TAKEO KIKUCHI Announced With Patterns and Themes From the Anime

It was announced on January 17th, 2020 that clothing brand tk.TAKEO KIKUCHI will be making a Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure collaboration line based on JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure which is available now as of this publication. Based on the “Diamond is unbreakable” arc, the clothing brand will be releasing a number of garments ranging from shirts to sweatshirts to jewelry. Each garment will have a pattern based on the clothing worn by the characters in the anime or will have a connection to something in the series. For example, the sweatshirt has the title “Sayonara Morio-cho” whereas the long-sleeve shirt is titled “Morio Cho Chizu”. The “Diamond is unbreakable” arc is set in the year 1999, which is also the same year that tk.TAKEO KIKUCHI opened their first shop.

The brand tk.TAKEO KIKUCHI has done anime collaboration projects in the past with series such as DEATH NOTE, Lupin the Third, and another Jojo’s collaboration line. Their previous collaborations have spanned various styles of clothing in the past and they are keeping with the same routine with this line-up. Other brands such as HONESTBOY® have done amazing Jojo collaborations in the past, and this one is no different.

Looking at the offerings that the line has, I can definitely see myself trying to obtain a couple of them. Specifically, the lime green colored shirt as well as the bracelet that they’re making available. I’m not a huge fashionista, but I know what I like, and this is it.

The tk.TAKEO KIKUCHI stores in Japan, BANKORE!, as well as their worldwide online shop will be taking reservations starting January 17th, 2020. The Jojo’s Collaboration line of clothing/jewelry is not yet available on their website but is likely to be available soon. So I would recommend keeping a keen eye out for them if you’re looking to get some of them as they’re likely to sell out quite quickly.
