With the series’ penchant for genuinely creepy energy tied to its more mature execution on the battle series genre, Gege Akutani’s Jujutsu Kaisen seemingly gets more popular by the day. Whether you go for the original comic or the Studio MAPPA produced adaptation, statistics have proven you’ll be done justice. The manga doubled in sales to reach a staggering 20 million volumes in circulation in the threeish months the anime’s been airing, of which Crunchyroll confirmed has been one of the most-watched shows of the last year. Striking while that curse iron burns hot, merch and collabs are beginning to roll in at a break-neck pace too. In fact, 2020 may well have been the year of Jujutsu Kaisen if not for that pesky specter of Demon Slayer hanging around. Regardless, we know more than a few of you are already mega-fans in it for the long haul, and maybe you’ll be interested in repping this Neo Jump leader with one of two sweatshirts courtesy of Toho Animation.
The two varieties of Jujutsu Kaisen hoodies are available for pre-order now on the Toho Animation Shop’s site, and they’ll set you back 8,800 yen before the shipping, so only the most real of fans may be willing to dosh that dough. The first, pictured above, represents fan-favorite Satoru Gojo’s whole curse-space distortion gimmick in a singular convenient print design! Second, we have the louder option based on the louder character: Wear Yuta Itadori’s curse marks as your own with the hoodie picture below. The latter was actually previously available but had sold out quite quickly. Knowing that, you may want to act quickly if you want one of these this winter.
These Jujutsu Kaisen hoodies should ship from the Toho Animation web-store sometime this March.
