KOKUMIN-FUKU Latest Collection Sees Classic PARK Design Revisited

It’s been a little while since I had the pleasure of writing about a KOKUMINFUKU drop, but boy am I glad that’s changing. Now, I can’t tell you how many times I made the rounds to PARK Harajuku only to see the staff wearing a classic NC EMPIRE designed t-shirt that has long remained out of stock. Through all my in-store inquiries I was never able to get my hands on one; but with KOKUMIN-FUKU, the collaborative efforts of both PARK Harajuku and NC EMPIRE, it only made all too much sense to revisit this design.

Announced this morning, the latest drop sees KOKUMIN-FUKU flex just what makes them so great; with the extensive history that PARK possesses, matched by NC EMPIRE’s extraordinary design prowess, they’ve got their formula down. This new drop contains two color variations of the aforementioned classic PARK design featuring all three mascots in traditional NC EMPIRE design styling. Though the design was previously made available on a sweatshirt earlier this year, I’m definitely excited to see it finally be made available on a t-shirt once more. Available online via PARK Harajuku’s webstore as of today, and in-store from August 31, the shirts can be peeked below:

If you couldn’t tell, I’ve got a major spot for KOKUMIN-FUKU in my wardrobe; anyone who has been following OTAQUEST for any amount of time shouldn’t be surprised to know that both PARK Harajuku and NC EMPIRE are two names I’m very loyal to. So when they come together and continue to pump out incredible pieces like this? Yeah, I’m all about everything going on here.

Available now via PARK Harajuku’s online store, and for those in Japan in-store as of tomorrow, those interested in checking out more on the ‘Absolute Defence’ t-shirt from KOKUMIN-FUKU can head over to PARK Harajuku’s official website.
