Macross Delta the Movie: Absolute LIVE!!!!!! just revealed a new key visual for the film, and a short trailer that features the lead-in song ‘Glow in the Dark’. The new film project is coming to Japanese theaters this fall and is part of the Macross Delta storyline.
The film is based on the 2016 Macross Delta anime series (also stylized as Macross Δ). If you’re unfamiliar with the concept, the series combined two major Japanese pop culture themes: singing idols and giant mecha robots.
We still don’t have much information, but there has been a short teaser text surrounding the movie announced previously which has stated:

Macross Delta The Movie: Absolute LIVE!!!!!! hasn’t received a specific release date yet, but we know that it is coming this fall. As of the time of this writing, we still don’t know if the film will be getting any international adaptation.
