MIYAVI Announces “VIRTUAL Live – Level 2.0” Live Stream Scheduled for 6/27

MIYAVI announced the latest installment for his #MIYAVIVirtual project. The samurai guitarist will hold the special “VIRTUAL Live – Level 2.0” live stream on June 27th, 2020 at 20:00 (JST).

In response to the outbreak of COVID-19 and imposition of stay-at-home orders globally, MIYAVI has continued to connect with fans by pushing boundaries—breaking down distance barriers through his “MIYAVI Virtual” project. MIYAVI Virtual has taken many forms from a virtual concert tour to live streams of Fortnite to animated music videos.

After the cancellation of his Holy Nights promotional tour, MIYAVI quickly switched gears to hold a virtual national tour with shows held on the original tour dates.

He has been actively releasing content since the outbreak began—with the ultra high-tech music video for Need for Speed dropping on June 14th, 2020.

MIYAVI also uploaded one of the Holy Nights virtual lives to his YouTube channel alongside several videos under his “Virtual Connection” series (the most recent of which featured SWAY from DOBERMAN INFINITY).

The latest venture in the MIYAVI Virtual project, VIRTUAL Live – Level 2.0, will be a full band performance streamed across multiple platforms.

VIRTUAL Live – Level 2.0 will be broadcast through [17live] for those living in Japan, Asia, or the Middle East. Part of the show will be available for free through the 17LIVE app. Fans can watch the entire show in the app by paying with the 17LIVE currency “Baby Coins.” Fans in the United States and Europe can view the live stream on the MIYAVI Official Twitch channel. The live will also be broadcast on the platform Weibo for those living in China.
