MIYAVI Releases “Holy Nights” Music Video

At the end of last month, MIYAVI teased fans with a few clips from his animated Holy Nights music video. The full version has finally been released on YouTube!

The futuristic video opens to MIYAVI riding into a gruesome, apocalyptic scene on his motorcycle. As our Samurai Guitarist races through the streets, battling it out with the forces responsible for conflict in the world, will order be restored? Watch now to find out!

The music video for Holy Nights was directed by Mr. Iozo with animation and co-direction by Tristan Zammit and Rodrigo Silveira. On his Instagram, Mr. Iozo said he even hid a few Easter eggs inside of the music video. Can you spot them? Leave a comment below!

The music video’s release accompanied an announcement that a new project titled “MIYAVI Virtual” has begun. MIYAVI will hold virtual lives on the dates he was scheduled to have shows on his MIYAVI “Holy Nights”JAPAN TOUR 2020. The dates of the postponed lives are: May 8th, May 16th, May 22nd, June 2nd, and June 11th. The first of the virtual lives was already streamed on MIYAVI’s official YouTube channel last week.

Holy Nights is the title song from MIYAVI’s latest album. Holy Nights marks MIYAVI’s first album release since his transfer to the Japanese talent management agency LDH from his own record label. The album Holy Nights features new material, covers of iconic Japanese pop and rock songs (reinterpreted through MIYAVI’s unique finger-slapping style of guitar playing), and rearrangements of some of his most famous works 

Holy Nights is available in three editions: the standard edition, two limited versions—each with unique cover art. Limited Edition “A” comes packaged with a live concert DVD from MIYAVI’s No Sleep Til Tokyo Tour World Tour 2019 Japan at Zepp Diver City. You can also stream Holy Nights on Spotify.
