It was announced today that fans attending the premiere of the My Hero Academia: WORLD HEROES MISSION film will be treated to a special mini-book related to the movie.
With My Hero Academia: WORLD HEROES MISSION set to release in a little over a month’s time, we’re well into the timeframe that we start learning about the promotional goods. The mini-book will get many fans flocking to the theaters to get their hands on it.
The book will be available to one million people attending the film. The cover features Deku, Bakugo, Todoroki, and Rody Soul, all drawn by Horikoshi. The book contains newly drawn manga and character designs by Kohei Horikoshi, original illustrations of costumes worn by Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki, a Q&A with Horikoshi, and interviews with the editors of My Hero Academia.
With the film set to release on 6 August 2021 and with the popularity of the series being at an all-time high, I can totally imagine that all one million copies of the book will be gone in no time and will quickly become a collector’s item. If you happen to live in Japan, you’re going to want to make it to the theater on opening day to ensure that you get a copy for yourself.
