NEIGHBORHOOD Taps Illustrator Jun Inagawa for Latest Drop

Teased via Tokyo-based NEIGHBORHOOD’s official Instagram earlier this morning, the fashion brand is teaming up with illustrator Jun Inagawa for a killer drop that is slowly being shared via SNS. So far with everything shared we’ve seen a total of two t-shirts, though there’s no telling if the self-proclaimed ‘Otaku Killer’ has something more cooking up in his studio. Set to release on June 20 here in Japan, there’s absolutely no doubt at all that these pieces are going to sell out fast. With that being said, who knows, maybe just maybe you’ll strike gold with a trip to any of NEIGHBORHOOD’s locations in Tokyo.

Peek the previews of the drops below:

Easily one of the most sought-after illustrators in Japan’s ever-evolving art landscape, Jun Inagawa has already made a promising impact within the fields of Japanese and North American underground culture through his consistently striking anarchy-driven otaku stylings. His works alongside the likes of major brands such as Adidas, Diesel, and VLONE, as well as major artists such as JUICE WRLD and Smoke Purpp, have definitely drawn attention towards him on a global scale; something I personally don’t see going away any time soon. This latest collaboration with NEIGHBORHOOD only further cements his place in the evolving landscape.

Originally launched in 1994 by Shinsuke Takizawa, NEIGHBORHOOD has long been a staple in the contemporary streetwear scene. Moves with talent such as Jun Inagawa only further goes to cement their position as tastemakers for the next generation, and I’m more than ready to see where they go next.
