In celebration of NieR Replicant ver. 1.22474487139‘s release and the fact that the game is, as they put it, 10+1 years old, a new collectible vinyl release will bring remixes old and all-new of the game’s most iconic songs to record for the first time.
NieR’s soundtrack remains one of the game’s most beloved features, and for good reason. With a unique sound unlike almost any other game out there that blends vocals in a made-up language with choirs and full orchestras, it’s spawned countless re-arrangement and remix albums over the years, both for the original NieR and its sequel, Automata.
Following NieR Replicant ver. 1.22474487139‘s release, themes for each of the main characters (including remixes) will be sold individually and in a collection on vinyl record for the first time.

The NieR Replicant 10+1 Years Vinyl LP Box is a 4-vinyl collection that brings together vinyls based on Nier, Kaine, Emil, and Devola and Popola into a single release. The vinyls feature art based on the characters.
Each record contains music taken from both the 2010 and remake’s soundtrack alongside various rearrangements. The Nier record, for example, includes ‘Snow in Summer’ and ‘Shadowlord’, taken from the remake soundtrack, and the orchestral arrangement of the original game, alongside their piano rearrangements and a special sax ensemble arrangement of the Shadowlord theme.

The Kaine release includes ‘Kaine/Salvation’ and ‘Escape’ from the new remake alongside a range of other Kaine arrangements taken from the Piano Collection, original game’s orchestral arrangement, and the arrangement addendum, with a special Oboe and Fagott ensemble. The Emil vinyl has a similar selection (original game, Nightmare Arrangements, Orchestral Arrangement and Addendum) alongside a recorder version. The Devola and Popola release including all versions of Song of the Ancients, piano, orchestral arrangement, addendum and a special Mandolin version.

Each vinyl comes bundled with a download code for the contents of the vinyl and special artwork made exclusively for this new release, and will cost 2750 yen. The NieR Replicant 10+1 Years Vinyl LP Box Set brings all versions together for 9900 yen. The release is scheduled for 15 September.
