The Pokémon Choco Egg has been around for a little while and the company behind it, Furuta, has been adding to the delicious Pokémon treat since its inception. If you’re unfamiliar with the product, it is a really delicious chocolate egg that has a Pokémon toy inside for you to collect. Currently, there are eighteen different pocket monsters in the current run of choco eggs, but today’s release of the new Pokémon Choco Egg Plus will be adding an additional four new Pokémon. What better timing to launch this than smack dab in the middle of the Pokémon Day celebrations?
The initial Pokémon Choco Egg allowed you to collect eighteen different toys. Here is the full list that includes the four new Pokémon:
- Morpeko (Full Belly Mode)
- Morpeko (Hangry Mode)
- Galarian Ponyta
- Mr. Mime
- Cinderace (New)
- Eevee (Female) (New)
- Galarian Farfetch’d (New)
- Secret (New)
The newest version of the Pokémon Choco Egg should be hitting Japanese stores today, 22 February 2021, and will probably sell out in an instant. The good thing with these items is that there is actually a decent amount of stock to go around to the various stores throughout Japan. The likelihood of actually being able to complete a collection is pretty decent.
There are some import shops that ship worldwide if you’re looking to get your hands on the new Pokémon Choco Eggs. I can’t say they’ll be too cheap though: a box for ten usually runs between twenty and thirty USD, a price that might not seem like a lot if you’re a collector!
