Late last year, Konami announced that they were going to be taking pre-orders for their premium model pop’n music controller, and today they announced that they will be taking additional pre-orders!
The pop’n music Premium Model Controller is completely redesigned and takes cues from the HD pop’n music cabinet that came to Japanese arcades years ago. Frankly, the design looks really nice. As expected, it has the full-size pop’n music buttons in a familiar layout with a super colorful design. It also goes to say that the controller is extremely thin, so it’ll be easy to store.
The pricing of the controller is the same as it was when it was initially announced back in November 2020. The controller will cost ¥32,780 (Approx. $315 USD). As with all things from Konamistyle, you’re going to need to have a friend in Japan place the order for you and ship it to you or find a proxy service that can order from Konamistyle on your behalf. If you happen to snag one of them before they sell out, they’re expected to start shipping to customers starting at the beginning of July.
