Project Sekai feat. Hatsune Miku In-Person and Online Exhibitions Will Include Fan Illustrations

Project Sekai: Colorful Stage feat. Hatsune Miku has only been out for a few months, but already the creators are in the mood to celebrate. Starting on 22 May, a special exhibition in Harajuku will commemorate the half-anniversary of this SEGA rhythm game featuring the virtual pop idol.

The exhibition will include selected illustrations submitted to Twitter by fans of the game.

If you can’t make it to Harajuku Quest Hall in Tokyo, they also plan to have an online version of the exhibition starting on 11 June.

In March, Project Sekai asked people to post half-anniversary celebration pictures featuring characters from the game.

The contest prizes also include an admission ticket to the exhibition. Entries have to be submitted by the end of 3 May. Entrants should also follow the @pj_sekai account.

Since then, fans have responded with dozens of pictures posted with the hashtag #プロセカハーフアニバーサリー記念イラスト.

Of course, there will also be merchandise for the exhibition. This will include buttons, stands, fans, jars of konpeito candy, and tote bags.

The in-person exhibition will close on 6 June. Although they don’t have the online exhibition links up yet, you can find the main website for it here.
