Towards the beginning of the year, I wrote an article about Space Age Inc., a Japanese company that collaborates with various anime and entertainment IPs and NPB, the Japanese pro baseball league. Today, they announced another collaboration in the works with Kamen Rider: the Kamen Rider Baseball Project.
Similar to the Evangelion collaboration, the Kamen Rider Baseball Project goods are pretty widespread with shirts, towels, keychains, phone rings, and eco-bags. Each team’s mascot imitates the transformation pose of Kamen Rider No. 1, while the deformed riders and their hearts join together to challenge the game.
Some of the designs also feature Kamen Rider Saber, which is now airing on TV in Japan.
If you’re a fan of Japanese baseball and Evangelion, these new collaboration goods are something that you’re going to want to grab for your collection. All the items are fairly priced, ranging from ¥750 to ¥3300.
As with the previous collaboration that Space Age did with Evangelion, if you want to add these to your collection, you’ll need to find a friend in Japan that can order the items or find a proxy service that can place the order on your behalf.
The Kamen Rider Baseball Project kicks off on 1 May 2021.
