It was just a couple of months ago that I found myself writing about a wild new collaboration between adult toy manufacturer TENGA and Go Nagai’s legendary Mazinger Z and Getter Robo series’. Given the more mature following behind Go Nagai’s properties, the collaboration wasn’t all that inappropriate, and in my original write-up, I even lamented about how I wish they had taken it further than simply t-shirt designs. Well, it looks like someone was listening, because TENGA has officially turned their collaborative silhouettes into an official run of figures.

What first started as one of my favorite Good Smile Company products from the last few years, TENGA’s latest collaborative efforts are a must-have. In a similar vein to the incredible TENGA figure that hit stores over a year ago, TENGA and Good Smile Company have upped the ante with both Getter Robo and Mazinger Z takes.
Set to release during February 2020, the two figures totaling in at 11cm tall will cost a surprisingly fair 4,091 yen each. Both figures are capable of transforming between a less than subtle TENGA cup silhouette into the slightly more safe for work expanded forms, and in addition to this, both companies will be making a 20cm tall companion set for Mazinger Z featuring his iconic rocket punch.
I’m always stoked on the moves that TENGA makes as, for an adult goods company, they’ve always proven one of the most adventurous in their endeavors. From their fun take on Valentines Day to these sorts of collaborations, you can’t help but love them.
