Last week Konami announced that they will be initiating the third round of Arena Mode for their arcade title beatmania IIDX 28 BISTROVER. The new round kicked off today at 10 a.m. Japan Standard Time, with players taking to the mode in a race to unlock the newest content presented to them in the four-player online battle mode.
The newest round of unlockable content for the third round of Arena Mode includes one renewal song from beatmania IIDX 14 GOLD, and a new Leggendaria chart for top-level players to tackle.

With the third round of Arena Mode running from today 20 May 2021 until 13 June 2021, I am pretty sure we’ll see a couple more rounds of Arena Mode coming to players before the end of BISTROVER’s lifecycle. Who knows, maybe OTAQUEST Editor-in-Chief Eddie Lehecka will get his wish and Konami will finally revive ‘Giri Giri Daddy’ before the next version releases.
