TOWER RECORDS has announced a new collaboration with popular san-x character Rilakkuma! The perpetually sleepy and complacent bear—alongside his friends Korilakkuma, Kiiroitori, and Chairoikoguma—will take center stage at the sweet “honey forest concert” themed cafe. The menu features a variety of absolutely adorable sweets and meals.

The Rilakkuma collaborative cafe will run at the TOWER RECORDS CAFE in Omotesando (表参道店), TOWER RECORDS CAFE at Nagoya Sakae Skyle (名古屋栄スカイル店), and the TOWER RECORDS CAFE at Sapporo Pivot (札幌ピヴォ店).

TOWER RECORDS CAFE is taking special measures because of the coronavirus outbreak. In addition to enhanced sanitation and cleaning measures, TOWER RECORDS is asking customers to abide by a set of guidelines:
- To limit the capacity in the cafe, you must make a reservation beforehand.
- All customers must wear a mask when entering the cafe (and at all times when not eating/drinking).
- Before entering the cafe, staff will take your temperature. If your temperature is above 37.5°C then you will not be allowed to enter.
- Obverse social distancing inside of the restaurant by using the spacing stickers on the floor when lining up to enter the cafe and pay.
- Additionally, TOWER RECORDS asks all customers to limit the amount they move around while taking photos/videos.
- Vinyl gloves are available for customers upon request.

In addition to the cafe, a line of Rilakkuma merchandise with the same theme will be sold from August 1st to August 30th, 2020. Reservations for the items have begun online. They include several keychains, office supplies, a towel, stickers, tote bags, and several apparel items.
