One of the best things about Japan is the various collaboration products that you can come across during any of your trips to the convenience store. Today, UHA Mikakuto announced that they are going to be collaborating with the legendary Tetris brand on their Tsumugumi brand of gummies.
The gummies come in four assorted flavors: grape, muscat, orange, and strawberry. The gummies come in all seven different Tetromino shapes. Here is the official announcement of the product:
This is a collaboration product between UHA Mikakuto’s ‘Tsumugumi’, a block-shaped gummy bear that can be piled up and played with, and the world’s most popular puzzle game ‘TETRIS(R)’. 7 types of molds are used to perfectly reproduce the actual Tetriminos. It is a product that allows customers to find their own ways to play and enjoy the game. The packaging is designed in the image of a game screen to express the fun of stacking and playing and comes in four assorted flavors: grape, muscat, orange, and strawberry.
The Tsumugumi x TETRIS collaboration gummies will be hitting Japanese store shelves on 12 April 2021 as a pre-release and will be released nationwide on 24 May 2021. Each pack contains 180g of gummies and will retail for ¥370 per package.
