The Ultraman series has some of the best music that I can think of when it comes to tokusatsu; one of my favorites has to be the music from Ultraman Cosmos. Today, Nippon Columbia announced an upcoming box set with the title ULTRAMAN COSMOS 20th ANNIVERSARY MUSIC COLLECTION.
The ULTRAMAN COSMOS 20th ANNIVERSARY MUSIC COLLECTION is a five-disc set containing music that was found in the Ultraman Cosmos.
Disc one will consist of the ULTRAMAN COSMOS Original Soundtrack Vol 1, containing all the songs from the original recording, including the two TV-size theme songs which are included as one track. Also includes additional unrecorded BGM.
Disc two will be the ULTRAMAN COSMOS Original Soundtrack Vol 2 containing all the songs from the original soundtrack, including the full-size version of the theme song ‘Ultraman Cosmos – Kimi ni Ikiru Nanika’, the unedited full version of the opening music and also includes the unedited full version of the opening music.
Disc three will be the ULTRAMAN COSMOS Original Soundtrack Vol 3 The theme song ‘Ultraman Cosmos ~Kimi ni Kakeru Nanika~’ is included as one track, including a separately edited take for TV size. It also includes unrecorded BGM and the new ending theme ‘Kokoro no Kizuna (TV Size)’. In addition, unrecorded BGM and the new ending theme ‘Kokoro no Kizuna (TV size)’ are included.
Disc Four will be the ULTRAMAN COSMOS Song Collection -TV Series + Movie 1-. The tracklist for the fourth disc has been released:
