A short while back, Universal Studios Japan announced that they will be having Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba themed attractions for a limited time at their park in Osaka. One of them will be a VR roller coaster called the Demon Slayer: XR Ride.
The ride will give park-goers a full 360-degree view as they experience the story of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train. Along the ride to their final destination, they will have the opportunity to meet all the main characters including Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Rengoku. The attraction will allow the riders to experience the fierce battles that happen in the series and make them feel part of the battle.
This is possibly one of the first roller coasters that implement a full VR experience, and it will be interesting to see how people react to the attraction. Personally, VR makes me absurdly ill, so I don’t think that I would like the ride too much. It all depends on just how jarring the VR is in conjunction with the roller coaster.
