Yakuza 5 to Include Playable Taiko no Tatsujin Mini Game

It’s not quite a localization of Taiko no Tatsujin V, but it’s still the first localized Taiko since the PS2’s Taiko Drum Master.

As with each of the prior Yakuza titles, Yakuza 5 takes place in a interactive open-world recreation of modern day Japan; complete with Club Sega arcades full of retro titles. Previous in-game arcades included mostly claw machines and original titles, but Yakuza 5 is going big: with Taiko no Tatsujin and Virtua Fighter 2.

Yakuza 5 is slated for release sometime in 2015. It’s currently available for pre-order on the PSN for $33.99.

(In-game Taiko will only run Kazuma Kiryu ¥100, for three songs.)
