Yoshinoya Teams Up with Pokémon for a Second Pokémori Set

Pokemori1

Popular beef bowl chain “Yoshinoya” is bringing back one of their most popular collaborations yet, their Pokémon Yoshinoya “Pokémori” set collaboration. However this time, rather than it being an eat-in only collaboration, this time it is a take-out only collaboration. You will have the opportunity to select from a number of menu items that have been selected to participate in this collaboration. The food items will come served in a Pokéball themed bowl and even more, you will get a figure as well. It sounds like a win-win to me.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Yoshinoya, let me just tell you that they make a mean beef bowl. There is just something special about the super thinly sliced marinated beef that rests ever so gently upon the top of a fluffy bed of rice. With the rice marinating in the juices from the meat along with a hint of onion that is prepared along with the accompanying meat. There really isn’t anything better (aside from ramen) that can satisfy a stomach that is yearning for some nourishment after a long night of partying at WOMB, Club Asia, or Vision.

Ok, enough of me fanboying over times when we could go out to a party and having a good time where we consume way more alcohol than any reasonable human should. The Pokémon “Pokémori” collaboration starts on May 14th at Yoshinoya locations throughout Japan and you will have the option to choose from the following:

Pokémori Gyudon Set

Pokémori Kids Gyudon Set

Pokémori Kids Curry Set

Each of the orders will come in a Pokéball themed bowl and be placed in a Yoshinoya bag with a Pokéball on it. Even more, you will get a random figure of the following:

Lizardon (Charizard)

Guraadon (Groudon)

Yadon (Slowpoke)

Utsudon (Weepingbell)

Toritodon (Gastrodon both versions)

And even though it doesn’t have don in its name, Pikachu

So if you like beef bowls, live in Japan, and love pokémon, and are waiting for the Pokémon Center in PARCO to re-open, the Yoshinoya Pokémori sets are going to be available for a limited time until June 15th between the hours of 11am and 8pm at Yoshinoya stores throughout Japan. If you’re lucky enough to snag one, you can also use your receipt to enter a drawing to be a winner of one of the Pokéball themed ceramic bowls as well!
